This blog is produced using "Blogger", a google product. They're making changes to how they manage their service that mean I won't be able to use it sometime after March.

Earlier this year I started using Posterous to manage my blog posts. It's pretty easy to use, they do the hosting and since all the posts start as email from me, I have automatic backups. Or is that frontups, since I have it before they do.

Anyway, all this is leading me to leave blogger. (sigh) As of now, you can follow me at http://blog.leehinde.com/.

My first post on this blog was on July 20th, 2003. I said:

Supposed to do the Kaiser Half-Marathon this Sunday. Sorry, make that Gonna do the Kaiser Half-Marathon this Sunday.

After taking most of January off I ran 3+ miles Monday, 4+ miles Tuesday and 6+ miles today. Will do 8 tomorrow. And 13.1 on Sunday.

We live in a cynical age.

No Flash on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad

After the iPad was announced, Adobe employees started complaining (again) that the iPhone family of products don't support Flash.

Quoting myself:

Adobe (apparently) wants the iPad to be about Flash. 3 billion downloads from the app store suggests Flash doesn't matter on the iPhone. It'd probably take 10 minutes to find app store replacements for the games mom plays on the web. That doesn't mean Flash doesn't matter, but I think Adobe needs to pick a different fight.
